What about my Blog

Uncategorized No Comments »

For what I think we should do with our blog is to let your students decide if they want to take the blog or not. The teacher should then take note of how many students want to have there blog and the students that don’t want there blogs should delete the blog and forget all about it. Then after, when the teacher knows the amount of students he should make copies of permission slip to give out to the parents letting then know that the student will have the blog if given permission from there parents. Then if parents give the students the permission to have the blog the student should have there liberty in doing what they want due to the fact that is is not the responsibility of the teacher but the parents. What I think is right.

What To Write

Uncategorized No Comments »

Writing about something that I want say but I can’t think of anything to write about. This school year I saw that my English class wasn’t the same teacher, but Mr. Mayo looked like a nice and technical person. As the year went on I stared to lose my interest in that class, our class was loud Mr.Mayo was yelling and we didn’t go on the computers that much.  Now our class is more interesting because of the play were doing from Shakespeare called As You Like It. We get to go to Mr. Stelzners class an watch movies and take notes with our friends, I would of hoped in the middle of the year English class would of been more interesting. I think that Mr. Mayo is a fun teacher, he makes jokes and talks with us on the computer. Sometimes he can be tough in giving out detentions and sometimes I know that he is correct but Mr. Mayo is and might still be cool at the end of the year. From your friend.

In the clouds

It’s 11:00 I’m walking to my room, lay down thinking on what is going to happen the next day and then, BOOM, In the light I see a person but I can’t tell who. I see that it’s my mom, she tells me that I need to write an essay about what interests me about this program called Pre-College Program. I grab my head and say “why didn’t you tell me this before” I walk to my computer. I was given a chance to participate in this program that allows me to go to the University of Maryland for 6 week in the summer. I turn on my computer and while I’m waiting I close my Eyes, imagining what is going to happen when I go to college and the it hits me. I write what interests me about going to college and about myself, but then I’m so into the work that when I look at the clock it said 2:00 am. I finish my essay, save, print, put it on the dinning room table and. Beep, Beep, Beep. I open my eyes and see the clock it’s 6:30 am I say “it’s time for school.” Confused I realize that it was all a dream and grab my essay and give it to the counselor and the day begins.

Short Story

A short story of school. Waking down the hall to the first period of the day, thinking what I did and what I didn’t do. What our teacher is going to give us, is he or she going to be mad or sad happy or glad. talking to my friends talking about what you did on the weekend, any subs in the 8th grade. Walking, Walking, Up and down stairs going to our next class, English, Math, Social Studies and Spanish. Lunch I personally think that this time of the day is the best for any student you talk to your friends you don’t see in classes. You eat and chat for 30 minutes but then comes the last period of the day 7th or 8th period it’s a Friday the beginning of the weekend and the end of the school week this goes on threw out the school year emotions up and down every week. But finally its the end of the week but it seems that this wasn’t a story it just says what us middle schoolers go threw every day of the week but sometimes we have fun with Mr. Mayo

Gen Peeves Musharraf the president of Pakistan locked up most of the countries democracy activists so the Pakistani Supreme Court to rule if he could remain president,However he locked up the countries top judges so he could remain president.Saddam Huseinn won his supposed elections with a similar process. Power corrupt a person’s judgement and personality. A series of test done by psychologist at Northwestern University’s School of Management shows that those who felt like they were in control or had power often could not see things from others point of view. They were  becoming selfish and had bad social skills. While on the other hand those who felt powerless or average were much more understanding had great social skills and demonstrated empathy.

The Comment That Can Stop Darfur

Do we want for the genocide to be over? We said that no place in the world should be in terror. Darfur has been a bad place for people to settle down and live there lives how they want to be. In 2003 all of that changed for the people in Sudan the Darfur region started to kick in killing, burning huts. The people would not be the same. Around 45,000have left to other countries or to refugee camps. If I were to leave my home for reasons like that I would not like to live in a refugee camp knowing that I’m in cage, not going any were but knowing that I might not be safe from the Janjaweed. I don’t think that anyone would like to live in that type of situation. This article is all about a mass genocide in Darfur if want to learn more about the Janjaweed pr Darfur read more.

The Genocide in Darfur is caused by the Janjaweed thought that the government is supporting all the things that the Janjaweed do. The government own a large amount of oil in Sudan and the Sudanese government sells the oil to China for the mass amount to power the machine to make all the stuff that china produces be able to make. In exchange for weapons that China produces that are given to the Sudanese government that are used by the to Janjaweed to attack the little villages in the Darfur region. The people of the regions that are being attacked are forced to move to other countries or to the refugee camps were other people are there for the same reasons from the attacking of the Janjaweed. The refugee camps are for people who lost everything in the attacking there homes were burned down and don’t anything but to go to a place were you have a place to live but in a cage surrounded by guards.

We are able to stop all of this madness that is forcing people to leave there houses and come to were I think is a cage called a refugee camp. Working together to help others if one day we can all be able to support the people who suffer every day thinking of what happened that day running looking back watching people die women taken to other places burning villages there homes of fire nothing to hold nothing but to walk to a place that they find that they call home. please visit www.manyvoicesdarfur.blogspot.com, maybe some day we came stop all the madness in the world.

Genocide Olympics

Do you think that China can do more to help Darfur? I think so. In this article it says that Darfur problems were not caused by China, so China doesn’t fell irresponsible and don’t want to help stop this issue. Published in Thursday’s Global Times. China is asking for the Olympics not to be stopped after Steven Spielberg quit as an artistic adviser in the Olympics. Steven Spielberg has accused China for not doing enough to stop the suffering of people in Darfur. China is a major buyer of Sudan’s oil and China is the major supplier of Sudan’s weapons.
